Connect2Books Sync

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

This policy explains how Paneless Apps ("we", "us") handles information in connection with Connect2Books Sync (the "Software") and this website.

In short: the Software runs on infrastructure that you control. Your ConnectWise and QuickBooks data moves directly between those systems and your installation. We do not receive it, store it, or have access to it.

1. Data the Software processes

To sync invoices, your installation of the Software reads and writes the following, using the access you grant:

The Software uses this data only to perform the sync you configure. It does not use your data for advertising, sell it, share it with third parties, or use it to train machine-learning models.

2. Where the data is stored

All of the above is stored only in your own installation of the Software, such as the server or container you run it on. QuickBooks tokens are encrypted at rest using a key that only your installation holds. Data in transit to ConnectWise and Intuit is protected by HTTPS (TLS). We do not operate a cloud service for the Software and have no copy of your data.

3. Intuit and QuickBooks data

Access to QuickBooks Online is granted through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 sign-in by an administrator of each QuickBooks company, and is limited to the QuickBooks accounting scope. You can revoke it at any time by disconnecting the company in the Software or by removing the app inside QuickBooks Online. When a company is disconnected, the Software revokes its tokens with Intuit and deletes them from your installation.

4. Retention and deletion

Data remains in your installation until you delete it. Disconnecting a QuickBooks company deletes its tokens. Uninstalling the Software and deleting its data volume removes everything it stored. Invoices and records already created in QuickBooks Online or ConnectWise are part of those systems and are not deleted by the Software.

5. Support requests

If you contact us for help, we receive only what you choose to send, such as an email, a description of the issue, or log excerpts. We use it only to respond and do not share it. Please remove customer or financial details from anything you send us.

6. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and has no forms. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the site.

7. Security

The Software is designed to request the minimum access it needs, encrypt stored tokens, and communicate only over HTTPS. Because it runs in your environment, securing that environment (network access, operating system updates, backups, and who can reach the Software's web interface) is your responsibility.

8. Children

The Software and this website are intended for businesses and are not directed to children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. If we ever offer a hosted version of the Software that processes your data on our infrastructure, we will update this policy before doing so.
